To connect your domain to SA Hosting, you need to point your domain to the nameservers provided in your hosting welcome email.
Nameservers tell the internet where your website is hosted. Once updated correctly, your domain will start loading your website from your SA Hosting account.
General steps:
- Log in to the company where your domain is registered.
- Find the DNS or Nameserver settings.
- Replace the existing nameservers with the SA Hosting nameservers.
- Save the changes.
- Wait for DNS propagation to complete.
DNS propagation can take a few minutes to several hours. In some cases, it may take up to 24–48 hours depending on the domain provider and internet service provider.
If you are using business emails with another provider, do not change DNS records without checking your email setup first. Incorrect DNS changes may interrupt your email service.
